The Andromeda vision is to grow a diverse team of inclusive and creative people, train them in technology and design processes, and empower them to pursue their own goals and ideas while rewarding collaboration and humility over productivity.

About the Founders

Martine Dowden

Martine Dowden has degrees in both Psychology, and Design and Visual Communications, which she uses to develop amazing user experiences and user interfaces. She specializes in web accessibility, and has years of experience in leadership, marketing, design, and development. In addition to being the CTO of Andromeda, Martine is also an international conference speaker, a published author, is a Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies and Angular and a Microsoft MVP in Developer Technologies.

Michael Dowden

Michael Dowden purchased his first computer (really, a box of TRS-80 parts) at a school auction in 1986. He built three working computers out of that box, kept the best for himself, and sold the other two at almost 300% profit. This started him on the road that has led to him earning a BS in Computer Science, a MBA in Entrepreneurship, and a history of working with over 75 companies, including five he founded over the past 10 years. Michael is now an advisor of Andromeda Galactic Solutions, a published author, international conference speaker, a Google Developer Expert in Firebase, and a Microsoft MVP in Developer Technologies.

Marc Ebtinger

Marc Ebtinger is a Founder of Andromeda. After being a Senior scientist for 31 years in biological and chemical engineering, he co-founded Andromeda to design simple, innovative and robust systems and provide solutions to real-world problems. He has international experience in France, Czech Republic, Austria, and landed in the U.S. 20 years ago.

Lore Link is Here to Help Organize Your Game

In April of 2021, Andromeda Galactic Solutions announced Lore Link, an online campaign management tool for tabletop role-playing games. Today, Lore Link is now publicly available for GMs, DMs, Storytellers, and game runners of all types.

Lore Link strives to be an asset to anyone running a role-playing game, delivering a system-agnostic tool that allows users to create campaigns easily, create campaign elements from anywhere in the system, and organize their information, or “lore,” into sessions to help keep track of what has happened and what is going to happen. In addition, users can create their own Image Library, create maps with hot spots that will allow them to click on a part of a map to immediately go to the associated information in the system, and even share information with their players, with more features on the horizon. Lore Link has also made, and will continue to make, accessibility an integral part of their process. They are using accessibility best practices, following WCAG AA standards, and making sure to provide fields such as alt text to make content accessible as a feature, not an afterthought. Their accessibility statement provides contact information if there are further issues.

Lore Link is available now at LoreLink.com, with multiple account tiers depending on the type and number of games a player runs. The free “World” tier gives very basic access, and they cap out at the “Multiverse” level, for those who run multiple games, especially those who run live-streams. For those who wish to learn more about Lore Link, they stream weekly on Twitch as LoreLinkRPG, and they have a YouTube channel full of examples, also under LoreLinkRPG.

In 2019, Mark Della-Croce started developing what is now known as Lore Link out of the realization that, despite the many digital tools produced for TTRPGs to support players and online gameplay, digital tools for Game Masters (GMs) didn’t really exist in a way that was accessible to most people running games. They were either too complex or too simplistic, and most failed to meet the standards of accessibility. Mark saw the project through the first phase of alpha testing in November 2020, before signing on with Andromeda Galactic in January 2021 to gain the experience of a team well-versed in online application development with a focus on accessibility.

At Origins Game Fair in 2023, Lore Link started a Kickstarter campaign to bring the program across the finish line. The Kickstarter was successfully funded, and backers have been in early access actively using the tool since November of that year. At Gen Con 2024, Lore Link opened up the free “World” tier to everyone, allowing all game runners to take advantage of what Lore Link has to offer.
